It's real if you buy from their website, but you can also find what look like "way better prices" elsewhere, and of course those are, again, clones. I have been meaning to try a Tactrix Openport (San Francisco company) to see if it is more reliable, but I haven't yet, so I can't report.Įven with the Openport you have to be careful. I also ended up with one that doesn't talk to all my ECUs. Some of the clones reportedly work better than others, but it's hard to know which one you're getting (because they really are clones, right down to cloning the "Mini VCI" on the label).
